Specs
Laptop - Dell Inspiron 600m, 1.6Ghz M, 512MB, 40GB, 64MB video card.

Symptoms:
- Nothing graphically intensive works. Occasionally I get a blue screen. I cant play videos in full screen mode
- Plug and play devices dont work (when I try to plug a mouse/camera to the USB port)
- Everything else works just fine including CDRW, browsing, etc.

Any ideas on what is wrong? I was thinking that my video card has blown up but why don't plug and play devices work? Motherboard issue?

These all sound like hardware issues you need to take it back to Dell If you bought it straight of the shelf They are very basic and dont have a lot of hardware installed .You are not the first person to be caught by them although they are supposed to be a good brand they leave out all hardware boards that are not basic I really believe this is what has happened top you .
