That's for each couple to decide, don't you think?

According to mans standards No.

But, according to God's Moral and Standards Yes. .

Fornication is sexual behavior considered immoral, according to the Bible. Fornication is sexual intercourse between a man and woman who are not married, or any form of sexual behavior considered to be immoral.

Remeber "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery?

This Commandment is speaking of Pre-marriageable sex also! It's like the father who tells his son. Son, I have a 50-dollar bill in my wallet.

But he does not tell his son it's a gift, a surprise for in the
morning. But, that night the son sneaks into his father's room and
steals the bill. What the son has done is make something horrible, out of something that was a blessing. It was his anyway! But, he did something wrong by taking something unlawfully!

But that is what sex is like before marriage. Sex before marriage, is a sin against God, it's a sin against conscious. The Bible says that lust is the same as Fornication! Lust is the same as Adultery!

This is the Spiritual Essence of God's Law.

For the "Spiritual Essence" of God's Law goes deeper than the letter of the Law, or what the Law says, at face value.

For the Spiritual Essence of God's Law reaches down into the depth of the heart of mankind! Because it is in the "Heart" of man, from which, is the source, of which, the fruits of sin are produced.

Now, if you was to conspire to assassinate the President of the
United States, just conspire, to do it, or tell someone, you're
thinking of doing it. You would find yourself, being sent away to
prison for a long time!

However, God's Law goes further than conspiracy!

The Spiritual Essence of God's Law goes to the "Source" of Intent!

For the Spiritual Essence of God's Law says, if you just have the
desire to do something, its the same as doing it.

For the Bible says that every man is "pure in their own eyes." In Psalms 30:12 we read; There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Other words; Humanity proclaims "it’s own" goodness. And the reason they do this, is because they have no ideal of the Righteousness of God. Let me repent this! They have "No" ideal of the Righteousness of God! Why? Because they have "No" Standard to compare themselves to.

It’s like looking a white horse grazing in the green grass and noticing how white and clean it looks, until it starts to snow. And then after the snow fall’s looking again, and noticed how dirty the horse looked now, against the white snow. It’s the same horse, so why the different? There a different, because there’s a different background.

So, when humanity compares itself to man’s standards, we come up reasonably clean. Yes! I think I’m a good person."

However, when we have the snowy white "Righteousness" of God’s Laws as the backdrop, then suddenly we can see ourselves as we really are. This is the purpose of the Law

So the answer to your question depends upon whoms Standards you are relating to.

This was the Purpose of God's Laws. For the Laws of God could only lead mankind to Calvary, and no futher.

Is preconsentual sex immoral? Since that's what premarital sex is.

The problem these days, people have a narrow definition of marriage.

Not really. It depends on cultural contexts. In my culture, tranditionally, premarital sex isn't accepted. However, the attitude has been changing a bit recently.

Is it cool for some 15 year old boy to "try out" your 14 year old daughter and see if he likes her performance.

If he doesn't he discards her.

You a happy father. Knowing your daughter ain't that good in bed.

3But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.

How many spouses should we have then? Didn't Jesus tell the woman she had 5 husbands when she said she wasn't married to a man?

No.
People marry with the notion that it's going to last forever.
Why risk forever with a lousy lay?
