It's never too late. The Gideons were passing out Bibles in the doctor's office and in our office where we work. It is a good neighborhood. So, they do not only put the Bible in hotels. I was shocked to see a Gideon passing Bibles out in that area.

This question connotes the Immoral Sex aspect, but I have friend who was in deep depression and wanted to kill himself at some motel with pills and all, he told me he started to look for some stuff and the Gideons bible fell out he grabbed it , threw it on the bed and continued searching for whatever he was looking for.
When he was ready to " Do it", he sort of just flipped open the bible and he told me some verse sort of jumped out at him and something "clicked" in his mind, and he abandoned his plan...
( a long story short version )
So you see, it may be too late for SOME acts, but it may be perfect timing for other acts.

Gideons put Bibles in hotel rooms, hospitals, doctor's and denist's offices, nursing homes, jails, family violence shelters, etc. All with permission, of course.

If you've ever stayed in a hotel/motel, you'd realize that the "room" is basically a bedroom with a (small) bathroom.
Where ELSE would it be put?

Cant put $100 NIV study Bible in every room....this isnt Saudi Arabia, y'know!
