I've read the Bible, of course there is a lot of text which should be read in context.

But wouldn't it have been easier if it has emoticons? I think Jesus meant many things kinda ironic. I do think some texts are meant to be taken sarcastical. Some lines are probably said with a huge laugh. Emoticons could have helped. God is allknowing, he knew we'd invent them anyway.

Cool idea. I enjoy the little guys. One problem - they always seem to come w/ pop-ups. I am not sure I want pop-ups in my Bible. In the beginning God...SEARS HAS A 50% sale on___ through the 7th Day. "The good seed falls on good ground - Miracle Grow will help your garden blossom..."

Good idea then not only would we read the bible, we would also know what the people meant. Yes, a lot of Paul's stuff is meant to be sarcastic.

No.
The message contained in the Bible is not one for entertainment value.
It is a life saving message for all who want to know and understand the real issues involved and what mankind’s role is in universal drama.
