Bangkok has many Gogo bars these are mostly located in areas like Patpong, Nana plaza and Soi cowboy. These bars feature girls dancing on stage in Bakinis. Officially prostitution is illegal in Thailand. They get around it by offering a barfine system. You pay so much to get the girl out of the bar. This price rages between 500-600 baht. You are also expected to pay between 1500- 2500 baht to the lady. The barfine is ment to cover the loss of income suffered by the bar because of losing one of its employees. Generaly you can get between an hour to overnight with the girl. This is usually nogotiated in the bar.
Most of these bars have a Mama sams an older ex working lady who works with the ladies. She can help nogotiate the deal. If you have any special requests like a threesome with two bi ladies you can make your request known to the mama sams.
Not all hotels will allow you to take a girl back to your room. That's why there are short time hotels that allow you to rent by the hour. There's one such place in Nana plaza. They also sell condoms and lubricants in these places.
There are also numerous open air beer bars that have female staff who are will to go with clients for the night. Return the many smiles you will receive from the people, most of whom are very friendly. Be respectful of others at all times. Do not disrespect in any way anything with the image of the king on it (that includes the money). Do not show the bottoms of your feet, or point your feet to anyone..very disrespectful. Do not touch a child on his/her head. Do show respect for Buddhist monks (you cannot miss them, they wear orange saffron robes and are seen publicly). Know what you are eating in terms of how spicy it is. Do enjoy yourself.

I find that the western mind-set that Thailand is a sex haven has bee n totally thrown out of proportion. Just because the locals tolerate your ways do not imply that they are so liberal about sex. Fact is, prostitution is illegal in Thailand and so as in any city, this is done underground. You are doing it at your own risk. And if you like the feel of the Thai slammer, you will be welcome to try.
Westerners in Thailand are also giving the country a bad name by alluding that it is a sex-liberal country, when it is not. They do take advantage of the plights of the locals.
If you like to look for sex, go to the European countries where the brothels are legal.

Most westerners think of Thailand as a sex paradise apart from it's beaches. Yes, it's a paradise for whatever you want!!

It is a crime to travel to other countries to engage in underage sex, as well as a crime in Thailand. You can, and should be prosecuted in the U.S. for sex crimes commited in Thailand or any other country. And, if indeed that is your intention, I hope they prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.
