You don't go to the sniper program; it comes to get you if it wants you. You have to be recommended, screened and meet a sh*tload of requirements to even be considered. It is not a program for the faint of heart or mind.

Eyesight will be the least of your worries if you get recommended.

I'm not trying to bust your nuts, but I see tons of guys wanting to be snipers, but shooting holes in sh*t isn't the whole point of the sniper school; there's a lot more to the program, such as Call for Fire, Reconnaissance and Observation, Ballistic Tables and a host of other disciplines you will have to not only learn, but master in order to succeed.

I wish you the best of luck with your goal, but you need to be realistic, and don't be too disappointed if you don't end up wearing a Ghillie suit.

Look on Army or Marine website for qualification. My nephew is a sniper & his Sargeant put him in for it, but his best friend just asked to be considered & they tested him on range.
My son went through sniper shcool as part of Ranger & Officer training (all training helps with promotions) I think he said they had to have 20/20 vision with glasses (they have ugly Army issue - he does not wear glasses but I saw others in his platoon).
You can not be color blind. They had certain required target shooting & they want determination. Look up website, it has all the gritty details but if you are good shot, vision can be corrected & not colorblind, you have a great shot (no pun intended) of being able to be a sniper. No nephew loves his assignment. It is dangerous though, he has had 2 of his buddies shot. Good luck!
