Well, people that burn the nation's (america's) flag, have commited a public offense, and should be considered a "criminal", so they should deal with the punishments that they would give to any usual criminal. If I had my say on what to be done, they would be BURNED like the flag they burnt, not just gassed, that isn't as painful. And they should be put in jail for a couple of years then sentenced to death. But well truthfully, in some old american documents( I can not remember which) Burning old flags is somthing we should do, old and ripped and gross flags, but not burning our flag as in offense, or hating the U.S.A. They should get sent back to where ever tehy came from, or if from america, send them to canada, or somthing.

for the time of the months while not in use the burners clog up with rust. Get a cord brush and sparkling the rust off of them so as that the flame can come out flippantly be particular the smokestack/vent pipe is double walled and is not clogged with chook nest or wasp nest or cobwebs. Get a save vac and do away with the previous stuff from around the burner chambers and the backside of the heater. Then hearth that mutha up and see if it works ok. gasoline adult men pink flag stuff perpetually. They comprehend they might push aside the burners yet their activity is to examine, to not make maintenance. that is a various branch. many of the gasoline adult men are experienced in detection of gasoline leaks and incorrect operation of home equipment. the choose not restoration the topic even nevertheless its undemanding as pie to do.

No. Part of what makes this country great is that we give people the freedom to say how they feel. If you start gassing this person and that person for expressing their beliefs, you're getting dangerously close to fascism, and then you REALLY destroy the flag, by erasing some of what it once stood for.

That is a hard question to answer. The Supreme Court says it is perfectly legal as it is protected by the First Amendment. So, half of me thinks they should be allowed to do it. Having served in the military, however, this half of me thinks they should be gassed.

A flag is a symbol..

A symbol is a reflection of its people..
And not the other way around..

Let them burn our flags.. But we cannot allow them to win by burning ourselves with the very reason we abhor such acts..

I think punishing anyone for practicing their freedom of speech and free expression is a bad idea. If you're going to get those people, you might as well strike a match to yourself as well for asking such a question.

Freedom of speech. If you don't want people gassing you for burning boxes in your back yard, you can't judge them. Just because we don't think its right, doesn't make it illegal.

I love how the USA extols so much rhetoric about freedoms and liberties but discourages its constituents from excercising them.

Did you know that we're supposed to burn worn tattered American flags? sort of like cremation.

I didn't know that until my Russian-American friend burned his flag, and all the rest of us were shocked. He explained it. Weird, huh?
