My cousin has the same problem, and it is a real medical condition. I am at a loss right now to think of the name, but don't feel strange seeing a doctor for it.

She did, and her doctor said it sometimes is connected with arthritis and blood pressure in older age. You might want to see your doctor to find out for yourself. It wouldn't hurt.

I have the same problem, both my hands and my feet are always cold and sometimes even turn purple. I've known other people with the same problem, so it's not incredibly rare, just unusual. I know some people think it's caused by anemia, but I've been tested for that before and I don't have it. My mom says I just have poor blood circulation so not as much blood reaches all the way to my hands and feet.

Your hands and feet are the coldest or second coldest part of the body. Sometimes, especially in the winter, your hands can get really cold after you touch water, for example when you're washing the dishes. I have that problem too, except it's only in the winter. Right now I'm wearing those soft fuzzy socks and my feet are still FREEZING. You're not the only one!

Your hands and feet are far away from the heart, and because there are so many veins in that area for all your fingers there, they can't work as quickly and get blood there, to warm them up.

Dunno the cause, but I would suggest you put really warm socks on and a nice hat. This way any heat will escape out your hands. I did this once, but my feet were cold, and I actually slept the whole night with gloves and a hat on! It felt nice though.

i don't know either, but that happens to me too. my hands and feet are usually cold. I think it's because of the heart being faraway thing.
