I am 11 weeks and i was told a few years back that i my cervix was an egg shape i was just wondering could that cause any problems later in the pregnancy? And also I have alot of scarred tissue from an ectopic pregnancy from 1997 can that also be a problem for full term or natural birth.....please don't say ask my doctor because my next visit is not for anothe rmonth and i have been trying to reach him but no call back so that is why i am asking here and hopefully someone can give me some information on this thank you.

I doubt that anyone other than a medical specialist can give you a good answer to this. So, do talk to your doctor the next time you see him/her; there is no immediate concern, as you have several more months to plan strategy should it be necessary.

I would think that if the shape of your cervix was going to be a problem your doctor would have told you at some point. Same thing for the scaring.
I was watching a show the other day and the woman on it didn't have a cervix at all. She had a stitch put in place and that was all that was holding the baby in. Yes she was considered "high risk' but she was up walking around outside so things must have been OK. She went on to have a healthy baby.
I would suggest that you keep of list of all the things that you want to ask your doctor about and take it to each visit. When you have a month between appointments it can be hard to remember what you want to talk about, especially once the pregnancy stupids kick in.
