daycare diaper check?

I was just thinking:

How would diaper checks be run in a daycare type of enviroment? Tons of kids, how would you know who made a mess, or if any of them made a mess? How do you check?

They are put in groups no more than 10 to a person. Each child is checked about every hour by the adult that is watching over one group.If you smell something funny in between checks you look till you find the one the made the mess.
