Hi everyone,
I am having trouble figuring out if this new girl is flirting with me or not. Over the past week or 2 she has complimented me on a number of occasions that "I smell really good", and about the way I dress. 2 other things. First she was reading her horoscope one day. She asked my sign and I told her, the first words out of her mouth were "you're my perfect match". I did'nt say anything because I was a bit shocked. Next she got my cell# from someone because she was going to a local bar and wanted to see if I would be there. Plans changed, she did not go, so she did'nt call. Theese are not the only"signs" just naming 2.
As far as the work issue is concerned, I fully understand all problems/concequences. So please don't focus on the office relationship woes. I can handle that. My main concerns are that I am close to 10 years older than her. 33>23 and that maybe I am reading this all wrong. I am honestly attracted to her beauty AND personality. She is totally my type.

If you're not afraid to go out on a whim...ask her out to lunch or something small and she how she reacts.

While I would be curious about seeing what she wants, I think I'd have to pass. Either she is looking for forgiveness or to cause more drama or she could be nuts. You've made the decision to forgive your husband and seeing her may open up a Pandora's box that ends your marriage for good. Tell her that you aren't interested in anything that she has to say. Tell her that you and your husband have made the decision to work on your marriage and rebuild the trust that was lost and you would appreciate it if she would leave the two of you alone. If you trust that your husband has ceased all contact with her that is not necessary apart from work then I would also tell him that she is contacting you and trying to get you to meet with her. Gage his reaction, if she has anything incriminating to tell you then if he is serious about healing your marriage then he will most likely come clean with anything that he hasn't told you yet. but if that isn't a road you want to travel down then tell her to get lost and don't say anything to your husband. edit to your addition: good luck. I hope all she wants to say is that she is sorry for any pain she's caused you.

No...she is just playing you...there is a 10 year age gap so don't read between the lines..if you were 43 and she were 33...that would be different...at 23, she is still pretty young...I would be very careful...very careful indeed...
