Why does anyone do that?! If you like someone talk to them, find out if the feeling is mutual. The 'hard to get' game is for those who are insecure or are just looking for the ego boost of knowing someone is chasing them.

Because we're getting smarter. Plus people in general are starting to realize that people usually don't value things that come easy.
I have a rule. Its that if I don't mind a girl doing something (like playing hard to get) on me then I don't mind doing it to her.
Now I will admit that a lot of people take it to far, but thats another story.

Most of the time we are not interested so it seems were playing hard to get, but we well often give in. Girls do it cause they dont want to seem easy or they are testing a guys true interest

maybe becasue its called male add a fe on it and female were both the same just diffrent sex.Not all guys are the same its becasue most people go for the same type of personality and most people stay with the male/female that beats em down longer then the one that treats em like gold whats with that ?

your never going to understand the opposite sex until you realize that there isnt one generalized feature for all men or all female
every single person is different. and if you understand that, you limit the number of useless questions for advice

most guys they want the girls and his friends to think he's cool.
If he was playing easy, most people would think he's a wimp, and he probably knows that a girl likes a challenge.
