Whould i bring to my trip?

I am going home for a visit, india, and i wana take all the godie little travel gagets....but i dont' know what to take or where to start....please advice...

bring a camera. If it is a film one, bring plenty of film. If it is a digital bring re-chargable batteries and an extra memory card or some sort of portable device for holding files. Bring an ipod, and cash.
