My hair is looking a little orange yellow, Do I wait for the orange to be completely gone and just yellow? I know I am crazy for doing this but it sure is fun

I still have the bleach on

have you already rinsed the bleach off? The reason it is doing that is because everyones hair pulls red or orange colours. The darker your hair is the more orange it will be. The higher the volume of peroxide you mix with the bleach, the less processing time it needs. You need to process it with bleach more to get rid of that colour. The toner will not lighten the hair. All it does is neutralize gold or yellow tones. Toners are usually purple based which cuts golds making softer paler blondes.

Leave the toner in for 5 minutes and that should neutralize the colour and make it softer, not too orange and not too yellow.

Leave the toner on until it's the color you want it - that's what the toner is used for.

If you don't get the results you want, use a purple shampoo that you can buy at your local beauty store (Sally's) - that usually helps to reduce those tones and makes the hair a more platinum color.

when lightening your hair it has to go thru phases-orange is one of them, as long as it hasn't been on too long already then it needs to get lighter. (next time try a professional-they can tone it for you to so it doesn't even look yellow) don't lift any higher than pale yellow-next step is breakage

I have a better idea. Get an actual HAIR color. You know, not a rainbow color that doesn't exist in nature, but a NORMAL one.
