The Holy Spirit, one of the three, separate persons in the one God known as the Trinity, overshadowed Mary and she became pregnant with the Son of God, Jesus. "How it is" is a mystery of faith.

See, here's what happened: Mary was a virgin, and Joseph was gay, so the stork brought baby Jesus to the manger. Santa Claus saw a star, so he sent news to the three Tooth Fairies that something was up. The three Tooth Fairies brought gifts of candy canes, marshmallow Peeps and a big ham. The Easter Bunny had no gift to bring, so he played his drum. Nobody believed in the stork anymore, Mary was standing by her story and Joseph was getting biblical with the innkeeper. So everyone pointed the finger at god. Oh, and Joseph didn't swant anyone to know he was gay, so he wrote a little footnote in the bible about throwing rocks at men who love men. I think that's how it goes.

Apparently Jesus is the son of God because Jesus is the human form of God and therefore the son of God. It confuses me....perhaps that's why I believe more in the old religion.

This is all explained to one who truly seeks the truth, in the bible. Jesus is the son of God who is immortal and of Mary, who is human. She was chosen to bear his son and raise him until he could go forth with his fathers teachings. This is a story that should be read by you to truly understand and with this understanding you will know that Jesus is the Son of God.

The most popular view, at least among lay Christians and conservative Christian scholars, is that Jesus, as the son of God, described his divinity. The logic behind this view is that because God is Jesus' Father and his Father is divine, Jesus is also divine. (In the same way, because Jesus' mother is human, he is human. This logic reflects rather the plurality of God than his unity and is often referred to as the Hypostatic Union)

Some entity had to create the universe, give it a name 'God' some one had to tell us about this entity. In doing so how would we believe they were telling the truth...H'm mm I know... give that entity a credible story...Son of God!!!

"My name Jesus son of God" Yep that's believable way back then...

Tah Dah!!!! and there you have it.

PS. Did you know there is no mention of the word Religion in the Bible???

I repeat this again, Jesus is not the son of GOD. He is a servant of GOD and the Highest ranking angel after Lucifer got kicked out of the Heavens.

He is Son of God. Because God said He was. "Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also."
