I have done alot of research and know that Islam, Mormonism, Christianity, Buddhism and other religions all claim to be the one true "truth!" They all say that the others are false, so wouldn't it make sense that one of them is actually true, and if so, which one?

remember there is a difference between thinking something is true and it actually being the truth.

The Good News of the "true" Christian faith is that no one need suffer the pains of religious works. Christ's blood can cleanse our conscience from the dead works of religion (Hebrews 9:14). Jesus took our punishment upon Himself, and He is the only One who can save us from our sin and death. see Acts 4:12.

It's easy to say all religions are true. They are all true to someone.
Long ago I came to the conclustion that all deities are metaphors for something else, an attempt to define Something indefinable, to describe some thing indescribable. Therefore Deities and the spiritual philosophies that go with them ARE true... as far as they go. But they are only aspects, incarnations, pieces of a whole.
They are truth as long as someone honestly believes they are... but they are not the whole truth. I think THAT is something more abstract than the human mind can really comprehend (hence the need for philosophies).

They are all true in the sense that they succeed in their goal: keep the population under control of the religious leaders, give weak of mind a goal in life.
Buddhism might be the least of a religion and lean more to philosophy and is seen as compatible with others religions by many.

“By the sky which returns.” (Quran 86:11) “[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling…” (Quran 2:22) In the first verse God swears by the sky[1] and its function of ‘returning’ without specifying what it ‘returns.’ In Islamic doctrine, a divine oath signifies the magnitude of importance of a special relation to the Creator, and manifests His majesty and the supreme Truth in a special way. The second verse describes the Divine Act that made the sky a ‘ceiling’ for the dwellers of earth. Let us see what modern atmospheric science has to say about the role and function of the sky. The atmosphere is a word which denotes all the air surrounding the earth, from the ground all the way up to the edge from which space starts. The atmosphere is composed of several layers, each defined because of the various phenomena which occur within the layer. The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of ‘smoke’ (i.e. an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition).[1] This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that ‘smoke’ (see figures 1 and 2).

I do not know if one religion is the "TRUE" religion. I do believe that there is a higher being. I was born catholic, but I do not believe so much in christianity. I believe more in the old religion and I believe in Gods and Goddesses. I do not think a person who believes otherwise is wrong. I do think it is wrong for others to tell a person they are believing in the wrong things. We are all different and we all believe in different things. If you believe Buddah is going to save you in the end then you are right he will...if you believe God is waiting for you at the gates of heaven....good luck to you and if you believe the Goddess is in you and you will be remade into something else I hope the best. If one is wrong in religion we are all wrong.

The truth of the matter is that none of the worlds religions are completely true and accurate. Since man is only human it would be impossible for man and women to have one religion that does everything right. I like to view religion like a buffet. Take what you like, leave behind everything else for someone else to eagerly grab up and complete their quest for truth.

That notion is more for political correctness in a pluralistic society than a logical claim. Of course mutually exclusive claims cannot both be true. If you meet someone who insists that all religions are correct, you best not argue with them. They do not feel compeled by logical coherence and you will drive yourself nuts.

They're all based on the same thing.....love of God.

Its a lie, all religions with different "truths" can't be true. Christianity is the only one of those that can be trusted with its promises.

No, they are all valid ways to come closer to God.
What ever makes you feel closer to God is a good thing. The idea that there is only one correct way is just silly.
