Say to him "I heard from a few people that you like me.." "Im just wondering if it's rumor or not?"
If he asks you who you heard it from say "I don't know i heard it walking in the hall."
If you have an instant messenger and he does too try to ask him on there it's much easier and if something happens like he trys to say you like him you can say "It wasn't me online it was my sister,brother,etc."

if he is also 14 then it might be a little harder to get it out of him. talk with some of his more "understanding" friends, the ones who wont make jokes or anything about it.

Either ask him up front. Flirt if U like him. Watch for signals such as staring at u, trying to get ur attention and doing very strange things around u like stumbling on his words. hope i helpd!!! :)

the best thing to do is just ask him yourself. yah i know itll be hard but you dont wanna miss out on something you might regret. trust me i was there once about last year.

if your have similarities in facial structures. if you both look similar in some, the tendency is you both attracted to each other. perfect physical attraction.
otherwise it is just atraction to cope from some personal insecurities.

if so, then yes (that is if he's doing it in a positive way and smiles a lot)
