One way is to open the file in Word, then choose Save As from the File-menu, then in the dialog, "Save as type: web page (*.htm; *.html)". When you do this, you effectively make copies of your documents in html (web page) format.

The easiest way would be to save the files as HTML from within MS Word. If for some reason you are on a PC that does NOT have MS Word you can get the files converted on http://www.zamzar.com/.

The later versions of Word allow you to save the files as HTML, use the file save type drop down box and find save as: HTML. This will allow them to be read in a browser then.
