Okay, im just wondering does a guy reading poetry impress a girl. Because on tv shows and movies, the guys read poetry to impress the girls.

If a guy wrote me poetry I would melt. If he reads it I just think he is open minded. Which I like. But I would think it is so stupid of a guy to read poetry just to impress girls. I think that would be so obvious. Especially if I asked him to intrepret what the poem meant and he had no idea.

Considering I've had some guys sing to me and I felt uncomfortable... Poetry reading might be better, but it depends on who you're reading it to. The only reason why I would be impressed is if you read/wrote a poem that is fun and witty.

yes it does, if she's into poetry also. It turns some girls on to find a man trying to smarten himself. Not most guys will do that because he the mocho GUY world they know enough already. A guy reading poetry is romantic, even if he doesn't get the whole idea of it all.....he'll learn

For some girls it depends. For me I would like it if a guy reads poetry. I shows that he has a sensitive side.

A guy that reads poetry in his time not to impress me but because its his hobby is what makes me love them. And it shows to me they are sensetieve and romantic.

It depends on the girl. My husband wrote poems to me while we were dating. I was touched. The poetry reading set him apart from the other men I had dated.

It depends on your age. It would've impressed me between the ages of about 15-25... Oooh, he's so sensitive! But at my current age it impresses me more when a man takes out the garbage.

who are you trying to impress?... cuz it all depends on the girl, if a guy read me a beautiful poem i would definitely be VERY impressed. some girls, like me : ), like it when guys show their sensitive side... but some might not like it at all : (.
