clairelov said Gaelic but she didn't say which Gaelic did she? I'm Irish here. And there is a huge different between Gaelic spoken in Scotland and Ireland. In Irish Gaelic its Sainmhíniú = Peace

peace----noun= sith (w/ an accent on the i) feminine, fois--feminine, or masculine is tamh (accent on the a)----also for reconciliation

peaceful----adjective=sitheil (accent on i ---1st i), or ciuin (accent over the u)----also for tranquil
