If they are eating solid food then they are fully weaned. If you still have them on gruel or a wet mixture then they are not fully weaned yet.
Do not send them how with their new families until they are at least 8 weeks old!! It is very important that they stay with their mom even though she is not nursing them until they are at the very least 8 weeks. During this time she teaches them manner and deciplines them so that they will be better dogs. If they are taken from her to soon they will miss out on that part and will it will take longer for their new families to get them adapted to life in the family.
Glad to hear that you are taking them to the vet to get shots and such. He/she will do a through check up on them so they are cleared healthy. My vet also gives me a vaccination card for each of my pups and allows the new family one free visit to get acquinted with him so if they choose him as a vet it is kind of a get to know me visit...

Probably on Monday the Vet will say take them off the Mom in a week or two. Depends on how they are thriving and if any are still smaller than the rest. Five pups is really a lot for a Chihuahua.

The puppy's and kitten's both are usually weaned at about 6-8 weeks

Six weeks is about the age they are weaned, that is usually when the mom is ready for it and then it is good for them to have a few weeks to adjust to their independence before putting them up for adoption. Do you have pictures?

Not trying to sound rude, but I would suggest doing more research before breeding a dog.

There are already so many unwanted puppies/dogs in the world that breeding anymore in the first place is irresponsible. It doesn't help if you don't even know that much about them.
