What is missing from this Trinidad and Tobago website and what needs to be changed?

I like the site. I would make the following suggestions.
1) There are too many links on the left side. It beigins to run together when you look at it. Try moving some to the right side of the page.
2) Combine all the carnival related info on one page or link from one place.
3) Add a section for news/ goings on in the different parishes.

The homepage has A LOT OF INFORMATION! Wow - I think you should keep it simple - great info but some overload.
I like having the music ...

i usually go on it to see how many more days left for carnival. i luv that coundown. the rest of the site is ok. i don't stay on it for too long.

Too much information, you may get your visitors dizzy, try to take out some.
