I would be interested in becoming a personal chef. Any suggestions on how to get started? I know that I have the cooking skills.

Research Personal Chef Associations. There are two that I am aware of...The USPCA (US Personal Chef Association) and the APCA (American Personal Chef Association). You have to join and once you do you have access to lots of information about the business in general. I am a personal chef and belong to the USPCA. I took the test (yes, you have to take one to join, but it's not hard), passed with flying colors and found lots of help about getting started, marketing, support about pricing, menu making software, whatever you need plus recipes that freeze well. Look into the organizations and join the one that works best for you. Good luck.
