To my understanding at the moment, some or most of the worlds religions do not allow for the fact that there could possibly be another religion or god, therefore two possibilities can arise : either there is only 1 religion and most of the people in the world are condemed to hell for following the wrong religion or there is no religion or god for that matter. Any ideas?

Paganism says there is more than one truth, that those who believe in different things are NOT going to Hell.

Pagans tend to believe that if you believe in Hell and you believe bad-doers go to Hell and you're bad, then you're going to Hell. If you believe in reincarnation and that bad-doers get reborn as an insect and you're a bad doer, guess what, you're going to be reborn as an insect!

Or there could be many paths to God and the established religions are just misinformed. I see good things in many religions, which suggests that their God is real, but they aren't perfect enough to get away with the "no other way" act.

Any religion in the world teaches same things in different languages, different style, different ages, different places.
But all the religion aim only one thing that they want their followers to lead a peaceful life. They have one common thing among all "Be Good and Do Good". There is only one God but different people realise him in different way.
You can tell a truth in any language in any way.

Hello Big D,
What does the D stand for? Oh.

Where in the world have you been all your life D.
Of course there are more than one religion. Religions pop up new everyday.

I am glad that Christianity is a way of life and not a religion, aren't you?><>

Religion and god both do not exist. These terms were created by humans to gain power and dominance.

How about option 3. There is a God, but religion has confused him to such a degree, noone is able to know for sure who or what He is.

I was gonna ask you where have been - Mars?

But, yes, the Judeo Hebraic variety abrogate the existence of any other "Religion".

Anyway, they're all Myths and ramblings of people who would have been put away in padded cells, in todays Western World.

Merry Christmas!!!!

Religion is man made!

There is only ONE WAY, ONE FAITH!

Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call--
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)
