She does it every day quit a bit. Not after meals just mainly at night before we go to sleep. And than she will roll all over the bed. Any suggestions?

You didn't give us a lot of information to go on, like: what kind of dog is she? How old is she? How long has she been doing this? Has she been outside before she does it? Is there any sign of skin discomfort or disease that you can see on her? Is she one of the breeds susceptible to dry skin?

Without that information all any of us can do is guess. I would guess that she has some kind of allergies. I have a male Dane that does that sometimes. I took him to the vet about it when I first noticed him doing it (shortly after I adopted him). I also noticed that he seemed to be coughing a lot. It turns out he has seasonal allergies and has his own Benadryl prescription from his vet. It's the same as what I take, and it's in capsule form so it's easy to give him. So whenever he comes in from a romp through the weeds (about 36 acres of them), he immediately starts wallowing in the carpet and rubbing his face in the carpet and with his feet. I know it's time to give him an allergy pill. Within minutes, he's settled down and resting comfortably.

Could be a food allergy, too. Check with your vet. Our dog used to rub her ears on the ground all the time. Turns out she has food allergies and we had to find different foods to find one she wasn't allergic to. Talk with your vet.

She could be having a reaction to something so I would call the vet and see if he/she has any ideas. Or she could be like my German Shepard and just does it for attention. Hope you get some answers that help.

allergies? maybe she likes how it feels. maybe she is playing and wants you to join her. If her eyes water or are dry, give your vet a call. My little doxie has eye allergies and she had drops for her eyes, but she still rubs her face on my legs and hands because she loves me!

My dog rubs his eyes alot, as did my aunt's. Vet says its allergies. My aunt's dog's allergies were so bad she had to get him some meds.
