With respect to all the major Christian religions including the JDubs. I am confused as to what divides Christians among themselves.

Thank you all!

Christians have been divided among themselves for hundreds of years, and they are creatures of habit. Now, the different beliefs of the Christians are so different that they cannot all belong to a catholic ( unified) church. The relationship between God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is that they are the trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They are three separate entities, yet one at the same time. I hope that this answers your two questions, if you want me to elaborate, feel free to ask.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three distinct Holy Personages having a unified oneness in mission. That is why Deity is called one God--it is a union in specific singular purpose.

The relationship is God the Father being the omnipotent ruler of the universe, His Son as God and Creator of this earth and hundreds of others, and the Holy Ghost to manifest the truth of light in all things to man. This Holy Spirit bears witness to the divinity of God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

GOD the FATHER, JESUS GOD THE SON(Emmanuel-GOD-inthe flesh) GOD the Holy SPIRIT.

Allthings were created by the Father through the work of Jesus the Christ via the Holy Spirit.

Some teach that Jesus was not GOD the SON but was a god or another god. Some teach Jesus to be merely a prophet and not GOd the son but all peoples are sons of god.

If Jesus were not GOD in the flesh he wopuld not be deity which goes against scripture. Therefore we worship GOD through Jesus. There is no other way.

Jesus and the Holy Spirit are a part of God. The Father Son and Holy Spirit make up God. The same as your body and spirit combine to make you a living soul.

Jehovah is the Most High. (Ps. 83:18) Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (John 10:36) The holy spirit is God's active force. (Gen. 1:2) They are not a trinity. As hard as you may look, you will find NO scripture that says the Father, Son, and holy spirit are coeternal and coequal or that they make up God.

There are many things that divide the religions that call themselves Christians.

I doubt any will like my answer.

They are divided, because often, they cannot accept the Dogmas, Traditions, and Doctrines, of the Catholic Church, generally, this is because some of them are difficult, or to difficult, they think, to practice.

Instead, the cut these things off, and make them anew for their own use. Where there is an ambiguity, they use their instinct rather than ancient Tradition and Doctrine.

The Catholics "discard" those who disagree with the Most Holy Father, in unity with their wishes, I suppose.

They refuse to be obedient to another religion, for it is difficult to give up their earthly power.

And so forth.

Specific disagreements vary.

God is the Almighty Creator, Jesus the image of His perfect design for mankind, and the Holy Spirit the Divine thought.

You can see from these answers what divides christians. All the answers are different. This is because each individual makes up their own answers to suit their own individual beliefs.

You are asking for the relationship between three fictional characters (actually, Jesus was a man and not fictional, although the whole "son of god" thing is fictional).

Ask one thousand "believers" this question and you will get one thousand different answers. The answers then become irrelevant.

Study vedanta philosophy, this is what jesus taught but diluted so people he was communicating with could comprehend it. "God dwells within you as you". all things are but God expressing his vision of himself. God,Jesus and Holy spirit are One. ode might say different aspects of the one God, divided for expressing that aspect. Sunlight passing through water chrystals are divided into the colors of the rainbow, the one into many. Unconditional love passing through the minds concepts of duality an emotions, divides into up/ down, in / out, positive/ negative, etc. an conditional love,/ hate. Just for my own information. What a JDubs??

Our God is ONE. What don't you understand about this?
If we are body, soul, and spirit, and made in the image of God Himself, you fill in the rest.

There are people in the world that call themselves Christians and there are Christians. The Parable of the ten virgins tells the story well. Go there and read it with understanding.><>
