ok, first of all you are thinkng about this wayyyy too much. you have to loosen up. if you stress it shows. whern your at the school dance your most likely gonna "dirty dance" also known as grinding. just go up to the girl and ask her to dance, if she sais yes, put your hands a little bellow her hips, and just move along with the beat. (hint: practice at home first)

Well...slow dancing is when a slow song comes on and a guy and a girl dance with each other! lol...
Normally to ask a girl to dance you just go up to a girl and ask her!! Most likely (if you guys are good enough friends) the girl will be flattered and will accept! You can just say 'Wanna dance with me?' and it's simple as that!! To slow dance with a girl, you put your arms on her waist, and the girl will put her arms on your shoulders. If you two are good friends, then you could dance closer to her and put your arms more around her lower back, and she'll put her arms somewhere around the neck area(lol). And then you sway! lol. It's kind of hard to explain, but it's easy and will probably come naturally. Just go with the flow!! Good luck!!
