She might have an allergy to her food or be reacting to the weather. My Pittie reacts to the weather. My Vet said not to worry about it, it will pass, see him again if it gets green or her eyes look worse. It passed. Where i live it can be warm all year round but this time of the year there are "cold fronts" where the weather can suddenly drop 20 or more degrees, warm back up after a few days and then do it again.
She'll occasionally get snotty eyes with the changy weather.
If you think there is a chance it could be food related, a good food is a dog food where the primary meat souce is Venison.
Mine eats Nature's Recipe Venison and Rice which also has no wheat so it's great for dogs that have allergies. Dick Van Patten has a good Venison food but I haven't found it easily.
I add Dan Active yogurt to her food and she gets 3V Skin Caps from the Vet that have Omega 3, Vit A, D and E in them.
Other good things to feed you pup are pumpkin pie filling, cottage cheese, Pet Botanics Beef and Rice log cubed and mixed in food or cubed and given for treats.
These are just some my sensitive girl tolerates well and things that keep her stomach happy and settled and allergies at bay. The "other good things" I just add a few tablespoonfuls to their food, feeding twice a day.
Also watch what treats you give your dog.

First off don't give the dog eye drops, I've had seven pitbulls and it's actually a very common thing. Pitbulls are very sensitive and they have a lot of allegies. Try giving her some benedryl, it won't hurt her. You can ask your vet to prescibe something but it's just a more expensive version of Benedryl. If your worried about the dosage if she's an adult give her one tablet, like the box says.

My five year old pit does the same thing. Sometimes he even cries out in his sleep. Like he is having a bad dream or something. It really is too cute to watch. Is the area where is sleeps warm enough? He is very young and should be kept warm at all times. I got my pit when he was three weeks old and he really wasn't ready to be taken away from his mother. I put him in bed with me, and there he has slept ever since.
