I think it is fun when we go over to eachothers house, rent a movie or two, and make it into a movie night at one of our houses, it is just like a movie theatre, only more private and comfortable =)

Anything that shows you put time and effort into planning the occasion, and took the time to pay attention to what the other person likes. So if your bf/gf loves sports, get tix to a baseball game. Or if they like being outside, pack a picnic and go hiking. You get the idea. People like to feel really special. Even better is if you somehow make is a surprise, or leave little notes in their bag or car giving them hints about what's going to happen.

I used to like the pep rally and bonfire before the homecoming game. There is something romantic about a huge fire at night like that.

Anything that the guy took time to plan out. Movie and dinner, he pays for it all. Or you go to his place and he cooked dinner for you and made the room look romantic.
