A frail, fragile, waiflike, defenseless baby factory with no sense of self esteem or self respect and no chance of surviving on my own. To be worshipped and kept in whatever manner my husband sees fit, mindlessly acknowledging my inherent fault for being born a daughter of Eve and bringing sin into this world by virtue of my very existence--My sisters in Christ, don't you agree?

WOW!

Your sarcasm is unequalled. I wonder why so many people can't see through it.

Very amusing. Would you like to provide any source of information, perhaps Biblical, for your idea of what God wants women to be?

There simply is no way to understand the mind of God. You cannot even begin to tap into it through the Bible or so called "Men of God." I would suggest what these men are is more closely associated with the old fashioned snake-oil salesmen, and, the best a person will do in following a religion, is to get a good person in the pulpit because I've found quite a few sociopatic types get behind them and then what you have is whatever whim that wacko decides to inflict on the hapless congregation.

That said, there is much to be said for critical thinking. Develop some and you won't have to wonder what God wants for you. You'll just know, and, in the meantime, you'll have quite the challenge learning this new art!

Best to you.

Your feigned Christianity is disturbing.

You obviously forget the many examples of strong, believing women that He noted for us in the Bible.
For example, those in Acts 17, who were independent Greeks and helped out Paul in his journeys. Or the Queen of Sheba who comes to visit King Solomon and admires his faith. Miriam was a leader of Israel during the Exodus. Deborah, Huldah, Noadiah, and Anna are all listed as prophets. Read Judges 4 and you'll find out all about Deborah, a warrior woman who did great things. Esther also accomplished great, non-domestic things. In the early church Tabitha, Lydia, Prisca, Phoebe, Julia, Mary, Lois and Eunice were all greatly respected women who did great things for the church.

If you just look, you can find ALL SORTS of great examples of strong, independent women who did things other than obey their husbands, have babies, and who obviously had a great deal of self-respect.

Stuff it -- I've fought too long over too many years to go backwards -- and LOSE the right to own MY PROPERTY in MY OWN NAME, to USE the Education that I've worked hard to EARN ... to Have the ability to MANAGE my own income, and to do what I want, when I want, and BE the person I want to be -- which IS a HUMAN BEING and RESPECTED as a competitor to my male counterparts in the same position.

Let's see, He wants us women to be: Industrious, In charge of finances, an early riser who prepares schedules and makes plans for her workers, hospitable to cook/feed those who live with and work for her, She should have the power and knowledge/education to be able to inspect and purchase property, along with being able to work the property. She is energetic an hard worker and watches for bargains. She is unafraid to work long into the night to achieve her goals

She is compassionate and volunteers her services and finances to help the less fortunate while making sure her household had all the necessities to flow through the changes in seasons and climates.

She is a woman of strength and dignity, with no fear of old age who speaks with wisdom and kindness who is so good at all she does, household, career, humanitarian efforts and life that her children stand and bless her and her husband praises her for all her hard work and dedication. Her husband also acknowledges how lucky he is to love her.

Were'd I get this from? Proverbs 31:10-29 (The Living Bible):

...a truely good wife is more precious than precious gems! Her husband can trust her and she will richly satisfy his needs. She will not hinder him, but help him all her life. She finds wool and flax and busily spins it. She buys imported foods, brought by ship from distant ports. She gerts up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household, and plans the day's work for her servant girls. Sher goes out to inspect a field, and buys it; with her own hand s she plants a vineyard. She is energetic, a hard worker, and watches for bargains. She works far into the night!
She sews for the poor, and generously helps those in meed. She has no fear of winter for her household, for she has made warm clothes for all of them. She also upholsterswith finest tapestry; her own clothing is beautifully made-a purple gown of pure linen, Her husband is well known, for her sits in the council chamber with the other civic leaders. She makes belted linen garments to sell to the merchants.

She is a woman of strength and dignity, and has no fear of old age. When she speaks, her words are wise, and kindness is the rule for everything she says. She watches carefully all that goes on throughout her household, and is never lazy. Her children stand and bless her; so does her husband. He praises her with these words: There are many fine women in the world, but you are the best of them all!

Sounds like Oprah to me!

You are really out of it. God's will for his daughters was that they be loved as he loved the church. God's will for his daughters was that they be sincere, honest, intelligent woman. You are very mocking and what good is that doing except to vent your anger at churches and Christianity. I respect your right to do whatever you wish but this certainly does not encourage peace and respect among people.

If you can find any evidence for what god's will might be -- or even evidence of god's existence -- go for it.
