You know how a set of spoons can be stacked so they fit together? It's the same with a boy and a girl. They fit together -- like spoons.

Spooning is just lying on your side with the guy behind you... bending your knees... and lying like two spoons put together.... cuddling.
Pros: It's very warm and sweet and caring. You can go to sleep like that.... it's comfortable.
Cons: It is sexually stimulating to be that close, so if you didn't plan to have sex it could be a problem.

ok best i can explain is laying next to your bf for example umm facing the same way so like your back is to his chest and yea you are really close. . .think of two spoons when you put them in the silverwear drawer. . hence the name . . . um pros . . .it is nice to feel close to someone as in when sleeping or just cuddling. . . cons idk you can't see their face. . . k that's the best i can do :)

Female is laying on her side, doesn't matter which one, and the male conforms to her shape. It's a good position for those with knee problems. There are some other advantages, but I'll let you finger then out.
