My best friend has a boyfriend and she's not sure if she likes him anymore. She has recently found that there is another guy that she likes more. Today she called me and told me that she made out with this other guy. I am good friends with her boyfriend and am wondering if I should tell him about what happened. Should I keep my promise not to tell her boyfriend or tell him because he should know?

Depends. Like if my bestfriend's boyfriend was cheating and they were not really dating that long or had no kids etc. and I just became friends with her boyfriend through her than I would definately tell her. Now my friend who has two children with her boyfriend (they are pretty much married with no paper though), I do not know if I would tell her if I saw him smooching another woman.

Most of the time I stay out, but if it is a really good friend than mabe you should tell her.

What would you do if you were in her shoes and she was in yours, would you want her to tell you.

Or maybe you could just drop little hints here and there, etc.

He should know but you shouldn't be the one to tell him. In all honesty he might not even believe you. And then you'll lose both friendships. Your girl/friend is a bit of a dirtbag. She should've just broke up with him. But just keep telling her how important it is to all of your friendships that she come clean and just let him get over her. If she tells him sooner than later then he will be pissed but not as much as he would be if she held out the inevitable.

If she's not going to be honest with her boyfriend, someone should tell him the truth.
In doing so, you may jeopardize your friendship with your best friend but honestly, if she's making out with another guy while she has a boyfriend, it doesn't sound as though she's the most honest person.
And I don't like to share friendships with dishonest people.

I would tell him, but only if I wasn't real good friends with the girl. Its wrong to cheat on someone, and that's that. Just because she doesn't like him anymore or isn't sure doesn't mean she can hurt him like that.

I think that you shoudl just let your friend tell her boyfriend that she doesn't like him anymore. That way you don't get caught in the middle, and you can comfort your other friend when he's feeling sad.

Don't tell her boyfriend; instead, let it come from her. Tell her that if she doesn't love her boyfriend anymore, she better split up with him that cheat on him.

Well...I think that you should let her not be a coward and let her tell him...however if she doesn't come clean, then someone should tell him...probably you or another of your friends that you told, that way you don't get in trouble (LOOP HOLE). So um...yeah...I think that's it, so good luck and I hope my advice helped

I think you should encourage her to be honest with herself and her boyfriend. You would be wise not to get in the middle, unless you really enjoy conflict in your life.

it's not your place to tell him...your cowardly best friend should be the one to tell her boyfriend it's over...by the way if she's that to her boyfriend can you imagine what she does behind your back.

things that make you go...hmmm.
