We act about the same age and our interests aren't defined by our ages. However, as we get older, will the age difference seem bigger, smaller, or not matter?

At 32, why do you feel the need to justify yourself to anyone? Do what makes YOU happy.

The age difference doesn't matter. I'm 42 and my husband is 52 and we've been together for 22 years and are happily married. We seem to get along just fine and age has never been a problem. Sometimes I forget that we even have an age difference.

No because your both adults and if you love him and you dont care what others think , I would say Go for it. I see it as only ten years difference no big deal . Lifes to short to care about what others think. I will tell you if your happy and hes happy then forget about the age difference. Don't let the age difference stop you from having a good relationship. If the guy treats you right then you can stay with him. Hope this helps

Nooo, darl. If it doesn't matter to the both of you, then I say just go with it. I married a man 14 years my senior and then when we split up (the age difference was NOT the problem) I dated a man 16 years my senior. If that's the way you like it, and you love him then I say DO IT! Lol. As you get older your tastes will become more the same, not more different, does that make sense?
Good luck, love.

When you're under 25, 10 years makes a huge difference. After that, not so much. As long as you are in the same place, and have the same goals, age shouldn't matter. But if he's looking to retire in 10 years to travel, and you know you want to keep working way beyond that, or if you want kids and he doesn't, it's not going to work after a few years. If you're in agreement on big stuff, you're good.

Only in Nigeria!

Be real 10 yrs is a lot when you are 21 But not when your 32/42. The older you get the less significant it becomes.

As you age, the age difference won't be any different than it is today. It may even seem smaller because you'll be closer, and more used to each other. It really won't be a problem. Enjoy it and have a great life!

Merry Christmas!

I believe the age limit will not matter. When you were 16 he was 26 now that would seem very wierd, but at your current age it doesn't matter. You are both adults, therefore, the age difference isn't a very important factor.

If he is acting 32 theres a problem. You probably are looking for someone to take care of you whether it's emotionally or financially. He's a father figure so don't get resentful when he starts telling you and acting like he knows what's best. Don't get frustrated when he can't take advice from you or acts like you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to the world or life. And don't complain about the sex- period.

Naww...that's not too great a difference. Only ten years apart. Why, methuselah must be 120 years older than his wife! and they are 900 and 780 respectively.

Seriously, ten years isn't bad. It's not like you are 18 and he's 65.

Age doesnt really matter in relationships. What matters is how you feel for each other. Aside from love , there must be respect and commitment for any relationship to work.
