I met this woman 3 years ago. We totally fell for each other like a couple of school kids. I never believed in soul mates until I met her. Things were incredible for about a year. Then she started telling me that I was too much for her. That only made me cling to her more. She is not seeing anyone else right now, but I get jealous whenever she starts talking about another guy. She continues to call me every night and tells me everything about her life. Because I have been talking to her friends, I have created some problems with her friends, because I didn't realize that she didn't tell them as much as she tells me. She is obviously very angry with me. I can't help myself when it comes to her. I have never been like this with any other woman. I have never felt like I "need" anyone else like this before. If she would just leave me completely I think it would be easier, but she comes to me whenver she needs someone to talk to her and makes her feel better. I want to make it right.

You have smothered this women, with your jealousy. Take a class, or see a counselor to deal with your problem, then show her you are trying to improve yourself.

want a half way decent opinion that uses correct spelling? Okay, just be honest with her. Lay it out there and tell the woman how you feel. Tell her you love her but there can obviously be no middle ground. That she either needs to decide to be with you or leave for good and never come back unless her feelings change. That is only logical. You did not mess her life up, she allowed her life to be messed up. :)

She probably keeps you around because she knows that having someone head over heals for her whilling to tell her anything to make her happy raises her self confidence. Stop being so clingy every once in awhile don't answer her nightly phone call, find some girl/friends to hang out with. When she realizes that you aren't just going to poof up when she needs you than maybe she'll realize how childish she is being when it comes to you and want a relationship. Also, stop being so clingy. Its nice to know that your man cares for you and thinks about you but don't push it over the edge or it really creeps us out and we start pulling back.

From what I can see your either going to be forced to open the door or close it completely. You said
"if she would leave me alone completely" so, does this mean you'd be happy without her? It sounds like she's complicating your life. I personally don't like complications, disorganization drives my crazy, I always have to have a plan. It sounds like you two are like farts in a wind storm. Know what I mean. I think, and you'd have to be honest with yourself, you two should go your separate ways for awhile, stop this business with friends, stop this calling and digging into each others past through friends, etc. just drop everything between the two of you for awhile. See what happens.

Honestly, my friend, I think you already know... that you have to remove her from your life. In this world you have to protect yourself, and well you got yourself in a touchy situation. Just take some time away from her... in this time, recreate yourself and get a new circle of friends... ones that either don't know her or knew you before you two were an item.
Its hard to move on, but its what needs to be done, for yourself. Maybe once you start to live your own life... she might find that enticing... who knows?

you need to tell her that, it may sound cliche, but quote poetry or something. she may need some space though. most girls aren't used to sensetive or clingy guys. she might be trying to make you jealous, which means she is seceretly into you. girls are really complicated and need to be talked to. be up front about it. she is obviously really comfortable talking to you, that is a step in the right direction. keep on trying!!
