It's a crap shoot. Some are, some aren't. No different than meeting them in other more traditional ways.

Personally? No I don't believe they are. Most are looking at it as a booty call opportunity. That's what makes it bad for the ones that are sincere in their intent.

I have tried the online personals thing... My perspective on the women are skeptical as well. Most are not looking for Mr Right...they want Mr Right now. They want to go from one date to a relationship. Most of them are emotional wrecks who think a man will complete them. The truth be known...only they can complete themselves. If they aren't complete without a man...they'll never be complete with one.

I recently revisited a dating site that I had used 3 yrs ago.... over 90% are the same ones that were there before. That tells me there is a reason. So needless to say... I didn't use the site this time.

I prefer to find the love of my life the old fashion way... by accident!

I think most men are looking to just hook up with as many women as they can on the personals. If they respond back to your profile in a very generic answer they have it already written and send it to everybody. If they write back talking about things you have written then at least they took the time to read your profile. You just have to weed them out and find out.

Over 30% are married (research) and most don't admit it until after he's gotten sex out of a woman.

There are a few sincere guys and gals out there.... but many are just looking for cheap sex and no commitments.

Best Wishes,

Sue

I think most men probably only have one thing on their mind when it comes to the online personals.

I'd say it's a 50/50 chance. But I think it's easy to pick out which ones are which.

Well sure, men can want to find a life partner as much as women can.

That said:

Match.com = relationship
Craiglist = sex
