We made it weaker..
Sure our strategy for urban warfare has gotten a lot stronger from fighting in the streets of Baghdad and Fallujah...
And I think our weaponry was always strong, even in peacetime we kept on developing new ways to camouflage and kill and other experiments such as stealth/new fighter planes...
But then this war has raise the population's view of the American government evil and money/war hungry..
It has wasted or put America in a half trillion dollar debt which could have been used to take homeless people off the streets, educate future voters/children/Americans/Productive citizen...
Or it could have been used to help countries that don't have as much benefits as us, like what the Red Cross is doing...
It could have been used to fix up our country, then go into another country and fix it up..
Hell it could have been used to demolish that UN building...

historically every. military engagement, from small localised events to theater or multi- front , all-out wars and battles, leaves hard earned, deep and lasting lessons, that leave our military with a greater knowledge of what our potential enemies are capable of doing, for whatever reasons they have for doing it. the terrible sacrifices made in engageing and neutralizing our enemies leaves us with a greater resolve to avoid all-out engagements when possible. keeping them limited and smaller in scope.when left with a choice. however: if the hand delt us is one requiring greater numbers of personnel and armaments engageing an adversary with protracted overt force, the lessons and reflections of our military leaders and personnel currently in-service and non-active in the last campaigns in iraq will serve us well. we learned a valuable lesson about rebuilding the countries that been our former adversaries after ww2, these were peoples not to dissimilar in cultures to our own. the lessons learned in the iraqi rebuilding will aid and guide our responses to cultures much different to those most americans are familiar with, understanding comes step by step with knowledge gained, with time come wisdom. better methods, practices, and protocol

Well, in all three areas it's making us smarter to a new kind of warfare. We'll always be able to fight and win a textbook style war with commanders and tanks and all that. But street fighting is new. And this has helped us greatly, in fact, more than any other nation in the world, who will probably, one day, wish they knew how to defend themselves like this.

In the kind of weaponary and stratgy and things like that... the US army proved his total failure and stupidity for wasting time and money to stand aganist insurgents attacks overthere. and if it was stronger as for persons think like that .. so why don't they attack either Iran or N. Korea now which they show their muscles to USA everyday ????
