i would worry if i were you, since it could have been an attack by any animal. there's nothing you can do about it, only the vet can check the dog out. go ahead and put the dog away somewhere safe and try to stay away just in case the dog is infected. i know, it'll be tough but you gotta try keep yourself safe just in case. try Dr. Foster & Smith for information on animals. that's all I got....

do not problem. If she had her rabies vaccine, she gained't get rabies. the Rabies vaccine is amazingly effective, in truth so effective that it doesn't in elementary words very last the a million-3 years that the vaccine producer says, it lasts more advantageous like 5-7 years or maybe longer. adverse doggie were given bitten? :( watch for signs and warning signs of an infection, as chew wounds can somewhat get contaminated on dogs. also, if it does become contaminated, positioned a cone on the dogs to stay away from licking, and positioned polysporin on. in the journey that your dogs receives a fever, your dogs desires antibiotics.

If your DOg has it's rabies shots it will probably be fine... If the dog is infected it will not show up right away.. Take the dog to the vet Monday to check the wounds.. The vet will direct you what to do..and probably recommend quarantine.. if you have other animals and you dog is current on it's shots separate the bitten dog from the others...

Does your dog have open wounds? Is he/she actively bleeding? If so they do need to see a vet. Has your dog had his/her rabies shot? If not watch your dog carefully. Start taking temperature in about four days..Normal temp. for a dog is l01. Initially his fever will spike from the attack, but if it goes over 103 by the end of next week I would take him/her in for rabies testing...Also if he/she has not had their rabies vaccination, get it as soon as you know your dog is negative....Many animals carry rabies such as squirrels, opossum, raccoons, armadillos, bats just to name a few. I don't know where you live, country, or whether you live in the city or suburbia, or in the country so I don't know what critters are around you....Know that I strongly believe if you are going to have a pet you must take care of them and have them vaccinated for diseases just as you would a child.....This not only protects them but it also protects your family.....Hope your baby will be alright.......

If your dog is up to date on his rabies shots, you shouldn't have a problem, but check with your vet anyway.
