i have a an old camera that needs a firewire to export the film into the computer so i can edit it. But the so called firerwire i have right now does not fit into my camera OR the computer........soooooo does anyone knoe were i can pick up a cheap fire wire and maybe a little help on how to connect it?????

the connector on the camera is not a standard fw connector. try to take the camera to a local camera store (Ritz Camera, if there's one around) or go to the camera's website and get a correct cable definition.

I believe I got a cheap wire from Target that came with conversion adapters to go from traditional firewire to i.link, which is the type that most video cameras use. You can't use a standard firewire connection. You have to have firewire on one side and a conversion on the other that fits your camera.
