What do you do with your books at the end of the semester? Keep or sell?

I sold mine on Amazon.com instead of the bookstore. That way I can set the price and I got a lot more for my book than the 20% the bookstore was going to give me on the price I paid. That irritates me. They sell if to you for $120 new, they buy it back for $25 and then resell it as used for $100 again. They make hundreds in profits on one single book! Sell it yourself on Barnes and Noble or Amazon.

I'm not a college student, but if i was, i would definitely buy used books.
why buy new books when used books offer the same value, they just look older and might have writting in them?
At the end of the year, if you don't want to keep the book (which i am guessing you don't) sell it of course!

I haven't started university yet, but I'm planning on buying used books whenever I can. I'd only sell the ones from those useless classes, like History of Science or Intro Psych, that I'm only taking to fulfill course requirements. I'm keeping all the communication/business/writing books. (I'm going to major in communications.)

I buy 'em used only 'cause their so much cheaper. And i don't sell it back to the school, because they SO rip you off. Place an add on a bulletin or something and have students buy the book from you. or sell it online.
I usually keep my math and science books for reference later on.

I buy whatever is cheaper on Textbook411.com and then I sell them right back to them at the end of the semester (I often just about break even)

I try to buy used book if there any left they usually go fast, and then I will sell them on if I think I wont need them anymore.
