If the surgeon who did your LASIK is experienced and comfortable treating you, you should be perfectly fine.

Minimum corneal thickness for a retreatment is 250 microns.

There are other options if your cornea is too thin later on - such as Refractive Lens Exchange (same as cataract surgery which they take the natural lens out and replace it with an artificial lens which can see close up and distance) or Visian Implantable Collamer Lens (contact lens implanted in the eye permanently to help with distance vision.) As your surgeon about these options or get a 2nd opinion if you're not too sure about doing LASIK again.

Good luck

What I understood is that you're involved approximately the submit operative care after LASIK eye surgical procedure. As it is extremely functional care which is needed after LASIK you dont ought to fear so much over it.You ought to put on protecting goggles for 15 days after the day of the surgical procedure whilst you pass external. You can begin your movements events from tomorrow of the surgical procedure once you seek advice from your surgeon for a checkup. You can begin going again to paintings 2 days after LASIK is played on you and one week in case Epi-LASIK is played on you.Activities akin to swimming, splashing of water or rubbing of eyes and eye make-up must be have shyed away from for first 3 months following the surgical procedure.
