Is it harder to gain or loose weight (in sense of time.)

To me, losing is faster because I can focus on a formula for fast loss.

Gaining is hit or miss which is why so many of us are totally surprised to see the scale jump 3-5 lbs when we don't think we've eaten any differently.

For most people I'd say gaining weight occurs faster. I think it depends on your metabolic rate. Mine is high and I find it harder to keep weight on. When I am in really good shape I tend to eat more but crave alot of protein as opposed to the carbs I crave when I'm lazy. Funny how that works but we are all different.

For most, it's gaining weight. But if you go through a crash program and fast for several days, then you'd lose the weight in no time. The best way to lose weight is not by that however. But rather, you should start working a lot, and eat normally. You'd burn off fat in no time.

For me it's gaining weight. It's pretty hard to lose the weight. However, I've been going to a gym for women, doing cardio on my off days at home and also on a diet. So, I've lost some weight so far now.

It depends on the individual. There is also the question of whether your weight changes easily at all. Me personally, my weight just doesn't want to budge either way but I tend to lose (both muscle AND fat) faster than I gain.

Gaining for sure.
Just think of how little fatty foods you need to eat to gain weight
and how MUCH exercise and eating right you need to do to get that weight off.
