most old pool rooms hung them at one end of the table away from most of the action of shooting they were usually hung on two eye hooks screwed into the wall and then the bead wires were attached they need to be about ten feet off the ground if they are near the table to avoid interfering with the game or if lower clear out of the way of the action, they are moved with the tip of the extended cue

a piece of thin wire and two turn buckles, after a while they will get loose and you can just twist the turn buckle a tad ...... good luck
