Yes, of course....as it is written...
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ....false accusers,....fierce,despisers of them that are good,....traitors, ,....lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,.......ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of Truth".( II Tim. 3:1-7)

Amen to that! Yes I had noticed and I thank you for the reminder. As I was about to get upset at some of the stupidity I have been seeing here. A part of me does know that it is the works of Lucifer and I feel that a lot of this is just to rip us off, & I do know that this world is his for now. But still at times my hackels do come up. You are quite correct in saying that I need to respond in love. Thanks!

I have also notice a GREAT number of questions about Christianity that are asked by other Christians or respectful non-Christians, about where to find something in the gospels, etc.
A lot of questions are respectful ones, too.
I know it must be difficult to keep that in perspective, but do try.
But, heck, if you can convince your coreligionists to stop invading questions asked specifically of Pagans and condemning us, I'll praise you to the skies!
I almost always keep my nose out of questions that ask for only Christian answers or perspective.
Would that your co-coreligionists could be so polite!
And BTW, I don't hate you, or hate Christians. I do have little to no respect for the *behavior* of some Christians, but it's kinda like what you all say - hate the sin but love the sinner?
I love the Christian but hate their pushy and judgmental "witness" of Christianity.

I agree 100%....I have always felt the same way...well, the atheist get their share of criticism here...but it still seems to be the atheist against Christians and the Christian against atheist....I have NEVER seen an atheist on here, mocking Buddha...or Mohammad...but their religions are so much more "permissive" I guess they are not "convicted" by the more kumbaya (how ever you spell it)spirituality,,,anyway, my brother is a card carrying....flag waving atheist...and I don't hate him...but he sure doesn't like me to much. Peace out!!!

I have posted these same sentiments lately.--it needs to be repeated daily I think as a reminder to both immature as well the more mature believers.. ..It is easy to get off track in these forums.
We are here to sow, water, plant and maybe reap. also our focus should alway be on winning the soul more than the argument.

I have noticed a lot of questions concerning why we believe in a God and comments about how ridiculous it is but I have seen few that made me feel as if they hated me. We are not in an age of persecution except in the darkness that is around us but not in the physical aspect of people mistreating Christians.

Yes, I have noticed and it does not surprise me. It is the truth and Satan is against the truth. Sometimes just speaking the truth doesn't sound loving but none the less it is the truth. God said if you say there is no God you are a fool.Sometimes the truth hurts

I gotta go with the Parrot on this one. I couldn't give a damn who you worship or what your spirituality is. You're not in some special little group because you're persecuted and if you'd open up your eyes once in a while you'd see that since christians are in the majority a fair share of the persecution is done BY THEM. It's almost like you provoke hatred by being bigots and then use that hatred you receive as justification for your bigotry,i.e. the bible says we'll be persecuted for our faith, woe is me, etc.,etc.

Yes, I have...and am hoping and praying it's a good sign. A good sign they are asking questions. Hopefully seeds can be planted...and someone else along the line will water them. :)

Is it so hard to understand that no one hates the fact that you're Christian; they just don't like "you're going to Hell!" comments and the constant condescending tone that Christians always use to speak to "non-believers"?
