If I have naturally dark blonde hair (and now it's a light brownish/orange/red), is it easier to use brown or blonde to get back to my natural color? My plan is to color it a medium/dark brown and let it fade - I figured that is better than coloring it too light and letting dark roots come in. Is this the best way to go?

You are better off just letting it grow back naturally. When you dry your hair too much it tends to dry out and fall out..

my hair was naturally Med Blond and I colored my hair keeping it Light Auburn. Wanted to go back to my natural color and tried coloring to match, not a good idea. I started loosing my hair. I have not done anything in 2 years ans I have my color back and my hair is not falling out..

I would recomend going to see a pro. Going back to your natural isent always as easy as it seem, in addition coloring your hair repeatedly until you got it would do serious damage.

I am a hair dresser and believe me lots of people mess up their hair then spend a ton of money to get it fixed.

when i changed back to my natural hair color, i used semi-permanent hair dye using the closest shade to my own color and repeated this every six to eight weeks until it eventually grew out.
