Okay to my last question. Okay, my little kitty, tonight is it's first night here. and well umm. How do I tell if it needs to go potty? He's staying in the cat carrier so he can get used to being in it, cause we won't be home at 5 am, to 2 pm cause we are at work. we come home at 11 for lunch for an hour. but. well. yea I just need to know the signs there are for when it has to go potty cause I can't let him roam around because he'll get lost haha, and he likes to go into the little crooks and cranny's that could hurt him.
That was my last question. some of you thought that I was saying that I lock my cat away... well I never once said that I lock her a way. I am just saying that While me and my husband are gone . I am going to put her in the bathroom with the litter box, thanks to a suggestion by someone. I just wanted to clear that up. oh and I am a very good pet owner. I have two cats and a dog! So don't tell me to get rid of my cat and to giver her to a good home cause she has one

You could put her in the basement with the litter box or you could leave the littler box out and her out because my cats stay out all the time while im gone and they do fine. I just leave the littler box in the basement then they go when they need to just leave the door open. Hope that helps

Usually the kitty will start smelling the floor trying to find potty smells already there since they are pretty constant in going to the same place and why so easy then to litter train. If you have a large bathroom its OK for longterm just make sure the toilet lid is down so the kitty can not drink from toilet-too many germs and the toilet cleaners have strong stuff tha can kill the kitty-poison her. But if a very small bathroom the kitty can become (it is true) clausterphobic so I would suggest getting a Animal Play Area(PLay Pen)which I have the one with the highest Panels-Interlocking panels that securely contain the animal but the animal is able to see its surroundings fo the panels are not solid but strong see through partitions-they are large enough for a litterbox,food,water-can try a water bottle that attaches to the panel wire and still enough room for the kitty to play, run around in and the kitty is totally safe. Most important the kitty will not feel closed in. or exposed to bathroom chemicals for also in the air. Can buy at Petsmart,Home Depot lLowes-and Petstore will have.

Is there an area of your house that is very small that you could put your kitty in? It would have to be a very small area without dangerous things, and you could put a litter box in it with your cat, as well as some food and water. Sorry, don't really know what else to tell you! Good luck!

keeping her in the bathroom with a kitty litter box (and bowl of fresh water on floor and toilet cover closed, please) is a good plan - for a few weeks. Once you are sure that she knows where her litter box is, then you can allow her to roam through the house ... I mean, its kinda sad to spend hours and hours and hours of your life restrained in a bathroom, right? But since you have other pets, am sure you know the protocols.

I'm not sure what your question is but usually a cat will use a litter box unless another cat is keeping it from it if that is the case you might need 2 litter boxes.

IF SHE HAD A GOOD HOME YOU WOULD HAVE ALREADY KNOWN WHAT TO DO WITH HER AND KEEPING HER IN A CRATE OTHER THEN FOR TRANSPORTING HER IS STILL CRUEL. YOU MAY WANT TO BELIEVE YOU ARE A GOOD OWNER BUT YOUR QUESTION AND COMMENT ABOUT KEEPING HER IN A CRATE WHILE YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND ARE GONE PROVES YOUR NOT. AND IF YOU ALREADY HAVE TWO OTHER CATS YOU SHOULD KNOW ALREADY WHAT THE SIGNS ARE WHEN THEY NEED TO GO!

I didn't realise that you had other cats and had gone through this before as you didn't say that. It sounded like you thought you could "crate train" the baby and I went on that assumption.

before each and every thing do not get a puppy in case you recommend on retaining it in a service. A kitty needs to wander round. in case you're taking the kitty out and positioned it interior the muddle field then enable him walk round the abode and about each and every 0.5-hour positioned him decrease back interior the muddle field till he makes use of it once. once he makes use of the muddle field he received't opt to shown back. also kitties should be left on my own for lengthy classes of time see you later as they have foodstuff, water and a muddle field. don't be merciless for your animal.

WHAT I'VE DONE WITH MY CATS HAS BEEN JUST SIT HIM IN THE LITTER BOX. THAT HAS ALWAYS WOKED FOR ME.
HE WILL KNOW WHERE TO GO. IT'S KIND OF WEIRD HOW IT WORKS SO WELL
GOOD LUCK.
