Hello, my name is Isaac , I am a caucasion poor person who lives in the middle of the ghetto of east Los Angeles. I got a job that pays me about 50$ per month to clean up the outside of a church at least once a week. I was just sweeping out in front of the church, as I bent down to pick up a half filled Aquafina bottle of urine, I stared thinking about some stories I heard on TV and the radio. I heard people talking about that America need illegal aliens, and without them it wouldn't function. I heard people say, "immigrents (note the leaving out of the word ILLEGAL)come here and do the jobs Americans don't want to do. If they weren't here no one would do these jobs." , and I started thinking," I'm an American, and I don't want to do this job, i just need the money. So this is one of the jobs that Americans don't want to do. So what should we do? call in an illegal alien, (yes illegal, meaning its breaking the law, and alien meaning not holding citizenship here) to do the job for

Ok, one of you commented that I shouldn't have enough money to have a computer, as they are right, I have had to get my computer part by part from other people as gifts, although it is still ghetto and made of cardboard (pictures are at www.wulf-krieger.deviantart.com)
One of you said to continue my education, seeing as how i am still in high school, there is not much else i can do for the time being. (getting 4.0+gpa, in case you thought i was stupid.)
Some of you don't think that this is a true story, i can assure you that it is 100% legit, and happened right before i wrote this question.
To the person who said illegals cant collect welfare, they can and they do. I wouldn't say that they spend their money on booze, aside from the fact that thats all i see them buying. The part about them supporting their families is a nice sob story in itself, but rather than breaking the law for personal reasons, they should try to fix their own country to give them the support they need

Nope, it doesn't make you a bad person. Many people feel the same way that you do about their own jobs when they have to hear those same ignorant political rants. There are also just as many lazy ignorant americans who complain they can't get a job yet would never do the type of job you do and side with the politicians, and would rather have everything given to them on a silver pladder and surrender the less "pleasant" jobs to the illegals and support them which just isn't right.
I feel the same as you do, you need to earn whatever extra money and take what job you can get to pay the bills. Its not much but I am sure it makes all the different.
I have noticed a difference between hard working immigrants who are here legally pursuing their chance to become a citizen and make a living as all americans and then there are those who are here illegally only to pursue a paycheck without the responsibilies. There are those who have respect for our laws, citizens, and our country and those who do not. I am for migrant workers and immigrants here obeying our laws. I am against illegal aliens who are here breaking the laws under the pretense of being immagrants, dodging responsibility as well as those who support and use the illegals; those who hire, dodge taxes, and care only about the money illegals can make them.
You are not a bad person, lawbreakers and those who support them are. What people need to realize is our lady America as caring to the world as she is can only open her arms so much, and of course her first priority should be the welfare and safety her children.

Illegal aliens and their supporters just have created a slogan to which Say's job's-- Americans want do. These jobs did not just vanish and suddenly appear cause it dawned on America oh the jobs we never did for 100 years- suddenly people from Mexico have expressed an interest in them. Shall we reinstate the jobs now that they are here. Pro legal is not telling us who is going to provide for the illegal aliens when they age and start to slow down and encounter health problems who will pay for all their needs. Who is going to have to pay for all that when they time comes. Illegal aliens are doing jobs they claim Americans want do. Within our history those jobs will run out and the demand will be for higher educated people shall come and lil by lil low skilled jobs will shrink and vanish. This job market will not last forever.

Alot of Americans feel the same way you do about illegals,but only recently enough people are actually realizing how bad the cituation is getting and getting envolved,the facts are posted all over this forum,and the only legit come back an illegal or pro illegal can tell you if you post a fact is that we are racist. Most of the jibberish you recieved on your post is from illegals.Only the civilized answers were from legal Americans.To get more involved you need to learn the facts and get into communities who agree with you on this issue.You probly live in one of the worst citieswith this problem.There are lots of groups that are anti illegals to support your concerns.

We need to stop looking so hard for things that are politically incorrect to offend us. We've robbed ourselves of our own liberties by doing this. I have a right to stand on my porch and not view a single person who doesn't belong in this country.
They break the law by entering and living here. Why not catch them, sentence them to six months community service (maybe they can build a few houses for Habitat for Humanity before they're deported)? Or we could chop off one of their hands.
If I kicked an illegal immigrant in the 'nads, I'd be arrested for assault. Maybe that shouldn't be the case. If the police don't want the hassle, maybe they should let us law-abiding, tax-paying citizens kick their illegal @sses back across the border.

You have got to be the most ignorant person ever. Promoting illegal aliens is very bad for the country. They take part in government assistance programs, but do not pay in with taxes. This is draining our government assistance programs and spreading the money too thin. This prevents those CITIZENS that pay taxes from getting the assistance they need. They also use loop holes and play our own system for thier own advantage, and most come here and take what money they make back to mexico. I am not against immigrants but if they work here they need to citizens our economy depends on it.

I apoogize. i am LOL at what you added about the ACLU and all...hope it doesn't offend you...People have been posting on here that Americans are lazy and REFUSE to do the type of work you just said you did.. My mom and dad and I both have done nothing but MANUEL unskilled labor all our life..sometimes 16-18 hours a day..I guess that means my family is lazy...I love your story and you have a good point
