I think I have a cold sore. It showed up on my lower lip three days ago and hurts quite a lot. Its my first one. How long do they last? Is there anything I can do to get rid of it sooner cause its getting on my nerves? And how often am I going to be getting these?

I got diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about three years ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand a lot of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date other men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/y7buk everything got better.

Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

I know humans that have had them for over 2 weeks however in many instances they are going to handiest final for days, It depends what you immune system is like while you get them, you may notice you will get a cold sore whilst you getting unwell eg: the flu. Its just your body's means of telling you somethings no longer right. Zovirax or any cream with the energetic ingredient Aciclovir, like Blistex (which is less expensive) will have to get rid of it fairly rapid or not allow them to appear in any respect.

Well usually with medication you can get rid of them in a few days. However, cold sores are caused by the herpes virus and you cannot get rid of that. You may have frequent cold sores and you may never have one again.

Arrgh i hate cold sores!
they last about 10-14 days.

Try not to pick at them at all, especially because your hands carry lots of germs, causing it to become more inflamed and infected.
