A guy likes you when he starts flirting with you. He smiles at you all the time, he sends messages with other people, and he may tend to act shy when you are around. Sometimes even if a guy acts like he doesn't like you (like arguing with you all the time or always cracking jokes) he really does like you and is afraid to admit it.

The way he acts around you. Shy guys will look at you, and when you look at them, they will turn away. They will get nervous when they are around you, and sometimes avoid you! You would be better off pursuing the guy if he is shy... If he isn't shy, it is fairly straightforward; you will be able to tell!
