We are commanded to honor not only God.. but, one another above ourselves.

I believe "biblical praise" is restrictive and is for God's ears only.

Well I'd like to think all that GOD created is worthy of honor and praise.
Before and after killing and eating food (both plant and animal) we give thanks to GOD.
Children should be praised - not abused.
Most humans are worthy of honor as they do their daily tasks without complaint. The few that look for praise have earned their do on earth, but have been found lacking for heaven, (or some parable to this effect.)
Don't let this go to your head - but this is a great question.
Something to really think on, instead of just comment on the rudeness or vulgarity of it.
I'll remember to check for more from you.

you start up your "question", with a reasonably great IF. i do no longer come to a decision your premise that god exists, which renders something of your rant somewhat pointless. so which you went from being a rabid atheist to a rabid christian. some people merely could desire to be rabid approximately some thing, to sense as though they belong to a collection of well matched. in case you hated god once you have been on your rabid atheist area, then I doubt you have been somewhat an atheist, you sound extra like a rabid anti-christian. you do no longer even understand a thank you to spell atheist. I even have by no potential hated god, different than there replaced right into a short era while i replaced into nevertheless a believer. i finished hating him while i found accessible replaced into no longer something there. How am i able to hate some thing that would not exist.? I hate what faith does to people, I hate the atrocities some Christians have devoted interior the call of their fictional deity, yet i do no longer hate the fictitious deity itself. no longer the Xian one, no longer the Muslim one, nor the Hindu ones. i do no longer hate Lord Voldemort, Zeus or Odin the two. There are literally a hundred's of gods and different fictional characters i do no longer hate. Hating some thing that's imaginary is illogical. i think of that's extremely unhappy for you which you have chosen planned fantasy over rationality, yet that's your selection. the only hate I see is on your question, and your additions to it. you notice in others yet a reflection of your guy or woman hate, my psychotic little chum.

NO!!!
Acts 17:24-25
Psalm 149:3-4
Psalm 150:1-2
Ephesians 1:3

All of these are verses out of the Bible that refer to praising God and God only. Nobody else is mentioned

Honor and praise are not specific to a God, they were here long before the stories of the Biblical God.

Yes, those people who dedicate their lives to justice, peace, and the prosperity and happiness of humans. If God would like to join this effort, I will have no problem honoring Him also.

No Compulsion in Religion

[2:256] There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient
[2:257] GOD is Lord of those who believe; He leads them out of darkness into the light. As for those who disbelieve, their lords are their idols; they lead them out of the light into darkness - these will be the dwellers of Hell; they abide in it forever.
