This SAME QUESTION has been asked a KAJILLION times by the same pervert who gets off on typing the question and seeing people try to answer it. It's probably some 50-year-old guy who lives with his MOM and is into BONDAGE or some other crazy crap!!!

This is over kill. A blood test is a very minor proceedure. If you are an adult or nearly an adult, it is time for you to grow up. I'm not saying this too be mean, but a needle stick doesn't hurt that much. You need to find a way to deal with this without being restrained. Perhaps therapy would help.

I have had countless blood tests growing up, and still get tested to this day (Kidney related). As a child I would scream, kick, cry and hide for years in order not to get tested. Then one time that I was being tested, rather than screaming, scrunching my eye balls tight to deny it was happening, I watched the process and listened to the technician while doing it. I found that watching and understanding the procedure helped to me find not only to cope with the situation but cured my needle-phobia, but how to better mentally prepare and physically deal with this. The best restraint is self restraint, and perhaps the support of a close one,

First, 'fess up and say which you're scared. you could not be the 1st, and that they are going to in all likelihood have some procedures obtainable that have labored for human beings greater scared than you're. Deep respiratory rather does help. And seem away ... you will possibly prefer to be waiting to take a pal with you who can communicate with you on the same time as that is occurring, or there could be a delightful nurse who can do the same. terrific element i've got ever met (and this works once you stressful up in anticipation while being labored over by using a chiropractor) is being instructed to wiggle your ft on the 2d they are stepping into. i've got ruined the marvel element incredibly, yet not thoroughly i'm hoping. good success.

They put straps around your arms so they can draw blood. Your making a big deal over nothing. You will only feel a tiny prick in your skin and once the needle is in it's all over. I've been getting blood work done all my life and it's probably the simplest test you will ever have to take.

I've never encountered this in an adult but you will no doubt have your arms and legs restrained either seated in a chair or lying down. Considering this is such a minor procedure I should think you would want to get through this without being put through that.

They will have your arms strapped to the chair and your legs as well. They might have someone else in the room to hold your head if need be. The extreme of this would be a shot of sedative.

There are mnay ways to do this. Sometimes they have people hold you. Sometimes, they have a chair with straps to hold your arms and legs. Is it possible to get a sedative to help this out?
